Subarutex
My EJ22 swapped wagon has some occasional hesitation which more and more seems to be from a fuel delivery issue. I'm now starting to investigate the fact that my gas tank seems to get heavily pressurized, and if this could be a cause of my hesitation issues. So... I have the gas tank vent open to atmosphere at the engine bay with a little filter on it. Filter is brand new, and is not clogged. Where else should the tank be vented? Any other ideas on why my gas tank is getting so pressurized?

Subarutex
While the heat hasn't been helping... The car has always pressurized the tank since I did the EJ swap.
pinksock
dont know if its related but here at my dealership it seems like we fix alot of older Nissan's with this same problem. They are fixing the problem with new vented gas cap's. Anyway a cheap fix, maybe worth a try?? Tony~
86ruguy
the pressure in the tank is not what is causing your car to hesitate. Did you hook up a check engine light? pull codes, if any. my old swap car had an issue with the MAF until I replaced it.

MilesFox
the little metal line that comes up from the driver side framerail is the vent for the vacuum canister. this would connect to the skinny line (of the fuel lines)on the mpfi intake
