zyewdall
eeeeewwww Come on, even a domestic SUV has got to be worth enough to trade in for a loyale wagon in good shape.... Though I happen to know that a 2 year old ford explorer will not trade straight across for a 4 year old subaru outback.... I tried to convince my friend to do that, but the ford wasn't worth enough.....
daeron
Hmmm... I'm surprised it's still valid. I wonder how much a buy out would be? I'm torn now, I could use some parts from the car but maybe I should try for the recall. Andy Swap parts, tow junk car in for "recall" check
cobcob
Come on, even a domestic SUV has got to be worth enough to trade in for a loyale wagon in good shape.... Apparantly a 1999 Mazda Millenia will JUST trade straight across on an '82 Brat with 190,500 miles...
OC_subiewrench
Well , cobcob's right on for the milage , and the trans shifts perfect (yup , it's an auto ) and it's ALL original . the body is as near to perfect as an 8year old car with over 400K on it can be .. NO ROT! I'd definately be interested in the OBK wagon! any interst in a near perfect , electric blue 2.5RS with 2 sets of wheels and 4 new tyres and 4 almost new snows? I do work at the dealership which shall not be named , and I think I saw your Brat at Bada Bing the other day! Not too many of them around.. 75subie
heres a thread i made about the obs, i'd still sell it just for the extra cash. its a great car to rack miles up on leaving it as-is, or you could always paint it up nicely. i always had intentions of painting it obsidian black with a rs bumper and gun metal wheels, but that will probly never happen for me. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=77331&highlight=impreza i'd like the rs, but i doubt i could afford one. i doubt you saw my brat the other day but maybe, can`t remember where i was , there is one other that i saw at taco bell one day, the guy was a real a$$. if you think brats are rare, i have a 69 subaru 360 pickup as well. I do work at the dealership which shall not be named not a prob, i am not the type to search for people for discounts

I just won't give that certain place press.. I spoke to the wife , and she's interested in your wagon . We'd love to see some pics if you could. I'd fix the heads on te RS if you were interested.. My wife needs a commuter car , and I don't trust the RS for back and forth to Liberty..
75subie
its a great commuter to run back and forth to liberty. i always found it enjoyable to drive. a/c and all. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showpost.php?p=629671&postcount=14 as much as the RS is tempting, i just could never bring myself to buy a car with those miles. thanks for the offer tho. mudduck
Uh...... I think it may be a little late now, but that would be funny though. And why not give it a try. Funny thing is that my first '82 GL was so rusty that looked like it had leprosy, but the rust was limited to the body, almost no frame rot. I love the west. My 91 Loyale came from Colorado, and has no rust on the sub frame, just the body. The front fenders are slowly disapearing.
