TheLoyale
Oh there smaller then that!! Wow, I mean i don't need any right now! It's just i wanted to change them to blueish! Because i changed the one for the center concel where your gear shift is for the auto trans! And it look's better!
86BRATMAN
The problem you'll probably run into with the blue bulbs for the dash is that most clusters have tinted plastic that the lights shine through. You won't really change it to blue, it'll be a mixture of blue and stock color to make whatever color it will be.
TheLoyale
Thats whatr i think the center consel look's like!! Since i chance the bulb! Maybe i should leave it alone:slobber: ?? GOOD IDEA!!?
86BRATMAN
There's nothing wrong with changing stuff. Its what makes the car your own style. But to truely change the color you'd have to get new plastic made and tinted to your liking.
TheLoyale
Oh man that sound's like a all day event! I know chaging stuff is ok! I'm doing it little buy little! With the offroad lights in front.. I would love to ge the Yakima load worrior rack and 2 post's!! And then hook up some black round PIAA or HELLA light's to that!!! Gloyale
The bulbs in EA82s are colored by a coating of rubbery plastic directly on the bulb. Orange for 85,86. and green thereafter. Change it to whatever color and that is what you'll get. Problem is they are really small little bulbs held into the dash by means of a plastic fixture clip thing. Finding the right ones in colors might be hard. You might have to really look to find em.
86BRATMAN
Ok, so those are different than what I've worked on. They sell the rubber coating for bulbs at some parts stores that would do the job then. Thanks for straightening me out.

Loyale 2.7 Turbo
I really Haven´t did the Dash´s Bulbs Change Yet, but I have Located -and I purchased a Pair to test- a Kind of Led Bulbs that "Spread" the light in a Wide Spectrum Pattern, Just like Common bulbs do, and They came with the Standard Connection Base. Now I´ve installed ´em in the Rear Licence Plate Lights, removin´ the Dark cover from the Clear Plastic lenses, and Due to its Colour (White, Plain White) the Licence Plate´s area now seems to be Illuminated with some sort of "Neon" tube... I can take pics of the Bulbs, and of the Licence Plate´s area illuminated by the White Leds at Night, just to Show you that those Kind of Bulbs (Invertd Tip ones) has the "Appropiate" Light Spread Spectrum to fit the Dashboard... So I´ll do that this Weekend, and I hope I can post Pics of ´em Soon...
TheLoyale
Yeah that's cool! For my Licence plate lights i've got blue ones! Not LED's but just bulbs. They look good and since i have a clear blue plate cover it really show's up! Look's like water or something! Really cool! And the 2 front corner light's are blue too! I still have the amber part but the clear part is now blue! It go's with the headlights!
