kingbobdole
While removing the intake on my 89 XT-6 to test fit some things I discovered this: The trans to firewall mount is not only bent to a 90 degree angle, but the mount itself has been snapped right off the tranny! I have no idea how or when this happened... unless it was that time I lost a bolt out of the tranny crossmember and the tranny fell a little bit... can't recall hitting the tranny on anything... :-/ I'll have to check my spares tomorrow and see if I have another. Turbone
I bet it was due to the pressure from that spring. Wheres BGD when you need him;)

TomRhere
Think I would be looking at condition of the front motor mount. Missing bolt from tranny X-member may have caused it, but the front mount should've held engine from pitching that far.... Just my .
nipper
There always has to be one problem child Check all the mounts. Thats a pretty big bend for a tranny that dropped "a little" . i hear the grand canyon is a little hole in the ground :-p nipper
Hondasucks
Good for 25 Hp at his rear wheels:lol: I know his car is fwd... no, it's good for 30 HP at the center differential in neutral, but only if he has a third generation thermo confibrulator. nipper
no, it's good for 30 HP at the center differential in neutral, but only if he has a third generation thermo confibrulator. Doesnt that require the muffler bearing upgrade? nipper

daeron
Doesnt that require the muffler bearing upgrade? nipper No, but if he doesnt have fresh blinker fluid he just might trash the running light/turn signal journals.
WoodsWagon
whoo, last time I saw one that bad, my hoses had ripped of the radiator. That was because of a disagreement between the oil pan and a rock. Done any rollback clutchdumps?
