Infidel
Looking to pick up some regular old KYB GR2 shocks and struts for my 98 OSB. I only see references for the "Impreza" though, nothing specfic to the wagon. Can I go with the 98 Impreza RS shocks?
Legacy777
Yeah, you should be able to use RS struts. It may lower your ride height some, but that's it.
86BRATMAN
The impreza struts are the same. If you use your stock springs it shouldn't change your ride height.

But I believe I have ABS. The 55/56 are new however, so that should be an indication that the 65/66 were ok prior to the new ones being introduced. Wonder what the difference is. porcupine73
The only difference is probably the ABS version have a little welded on mount/clip thing for the ABS sensor wire to bolt into. So you could use the ABS struts on non-abs vehicle and just not use the mount point. But to use the non-ABS struts on an ABS vehicle you'd need a way to support the ABS sensor wire. 86BRATMAN
If your car doesn't have the abs wires held on by a bracket that bolts on with the lower strut bolts, like they are on 91-94 legacy's, you can find them from a junk yard or another member may have them.
