subyrally Posted August 11, 2007 Share Posted August 11, 2007 there was a thread on nasioc a while back where someone was swapping htat engine into his impreza, but he made custom headers and i think was playing with engine management. unfortunatly, i cant remember where that thread was hiding on there. Virrdog Posted August 11, 2007 Share Posted August 11, 2007 Simply, your best bet is to keep the car in tip-top maintenance with things like copper plugs and clean air filter. subyrally Posted August 12, 2007 Share Posted August 12, 2007 you could always get an intake that allows for the maf and ive noticed that ngk irridum plugs make a difference. that and free flowing exhaust, maybe 2.25"- 2.5" with a good quality muffler on it would help out a bit. but after the simple things like bolt ons, unless you are willing to spend the time and money to play with the internals and engine management, there isnt too much really .
