joebmx
So a few things. I was finishing up a valve cover reseal on my 87 gl, ea82 carb. when i noticed a small hole in the bottom of the drivers side where the valves live. Sorry I am new to this and don't know its proper name. With the engine running there is no smoke, oil, or coolant, not that there would be coming out. Should i be worried. And how can I fix this? 86BRATMAN
Can you be more specific as to where the hole is, a picture would be nice too if you can get one.
hooziewhatsit
I believe all Ea82 heads have that 'hole'. Nothing to worry about. I bet there's one on the other side in the same place -Dave
subyrally
if its the hole i tihnk it is, its most likely the little drian holes for the where the spark plugs go in, keeps water from pooling around the top of hte plugs and such, i think
