subaruguru Posted August 28, 2007 Share Posted August 28, 2007 ok so im pretty shur it has points it is an ea71 has the voltage regulator on the iner fender and the little box on the coil also it has a porcelain condecer like on the old dodges and plymouths. i know you can take an ea81 coil and disty and use it. but i think my voltage regulator is bad. Well i have an internaly regulated alternator that i can put on the car and i want to know if i can just put it in and remove the external regulator.also how do i time it ? thanks alot guys. rob Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
