newsoobdude
I have a line on a set of FSMs for 1986 (yes all 4) for a decent price, but it does NOT include the Brat (according to the cover) which is my concern. Granted I have an 86 Wagon also, but am more interested in the Brat than Wagon. Any idea on what year FSM I need for inclusion of the Brat? Also, what are the BIG differences (drivetrain wise) between the 2 (besides EA 81 and 82 motors)? Any help greatly appreciated. And, anyone has the engine section of a FSM for a 1986 Brat? mikeshoup
For the BRAT, you need a 1984 FSM.
GeneralDisorder
Also, what are the BIG differences (drivetrain wise) between the 2 (besides EA 81 and 82 motors)? Any help greatly appreciated. And, anyone has the engine section of a FSM for a 1986 Brat? They are entirely different chassis generations - there's a few parts that will swap around (rear brakes, etc) but for the most part there aren't any real similarities other than you can see a logical evolution in most things. As stated, 84 was the last year EA81 FSM's were made. Any changes after that (and there were very few) were done with TSB's. As with most Subaru FSM's the 84 is availible from the dealer for about $80 GD
