backwoodsboy
what does he mean by it's a collectable?? Theoretically.... everything is collectable ....but that DOESNT mean its worth its weight in gold.
TheLoyale
Yeah your right everything is collectable. Just depends who wants it. But it still is not worth $5000.
Reveeen
If you care to look (compare used car prices across the country) there appear to be Subaru "hot spots". Now, as to the why, I really can't say, but as you are noticing, it's "foolish".
misledxcracker
I've bought four Subaru's here, never once over $1,000. It's not really a hotspot in SoCal, but at the same time, you don't see them around much. I can find a 2000-2001 Outback for around $6,000 and I honestly would rather have that than an '88 station wagon. Now, an '86 RX coupe...
TheLoyale
So even if EA82 wagons are rare in Cal and you only paid $1000 theres no reson for that guy to ask $5000 for one.. In other word's, He's flip'en crazy:lol:

subyrally
reminds me of the people that refuse to sell a car in their driveway cause it might be worth more later, nevermind that by time they are ready to sell it, its soo rusted out that they have to pay someone to take it. like the guy with a porsche 911 turbo rotting in his driveway. wont sell it cause its going to be worth more later. i guess no one ever told them that rust isnt worth anything.. N2FHL
Back off guys. It's a free country. If I can get you to buy my Bic pen for $10, good for me. If the price is too high, don't buy it. This guy is just trolling for a buyer with more dollars than sense---the American way.
