SmashedGlass Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Removed the one remaining sparkie, pulled coil wire (and ign/fuel/ECC fuse to be safe) and bump-cranked her a few times....of course, coolant went about six feet into the air everywhere out the drivers side haha, all over my 200SX (..silly, should've thought of that and parked further before cranking). But can't seem to get ALL the coolant out of poor #4 cylinder in that manner. At least doesn't look like it, it's damn hard to get a light down in there with all the accessories still in. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Conclusions? Voodoo spells? Oh, with the plugs out she did spin the crank quite easily with no odd sounds, so I suspect no damage to the valve train or rotating mass. I'm a pessimist so it's hard for me to believe that it's as simple as the intake gasket. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Numbchux Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 It should burn off once you start it up again. yep, once you get enough out of there so that hydrolocking isn't a risk, you should be able to reassemble and start 'er up. it'll smoke for a bit, but it shouldn't hurt anything.
