swilde20
i'm looking at buying a 97 legacy wagon that has no power windows and a tach less dash and was wondering if the wiring was there from the factory if i was to put on some other doors i have with all the power options and a different gauge set with a tach? i know some car builders do that to save time and money. thanks steve
porcupine73
Sounds like it is a brighton. Not sure about the power locks stuff, but the tach signal is definitely there. On my '96 leg brighton I tapped the wire on one of the connectors to the instruent panel that would have gone to the tach and used that to run an aftermarket tach and it worked. subaru key collector
porcipune73, your leggys have no power locks?
86BRATMAN
I had a 95 brighton, swapped in a cluster from a 96 L and everything worked perfectly. I however did not look into locks, windows, or mirrors. If the wiring is there, you'll still need relays, swithes and all that fun stuff.
porcupine73
porcipune73, your leggys have no power locks?Nice keys! My '96 is a brighton, it does not have power locks, power windows, ABS, and it has rear drums. My '94 has all of those.
