opelsuby
81 Wagon. Do I really have to pull the whole fender off to replace my antenna or is there an easier way?
hatchsub
Is the antenna bent? If thats the only reason your replacing it then just unscrew the antena (should be an 8mm wrench) and screw a new one on to the stud. Im not sure if you talking about replacing everything. I think you can get away with just pulling the inner fender (the plastic wheel well in other words) and getting access like that. Good luck. opelsuby
The B* snapped off. I do have a replacement one but it isn't threaded. I'll peek at the inner fender well. thanks.
bratsrus1
Hey Subie This is Jerry, if the antenna is on the left side then all you need to do is pull back the inner fender and you can get at it. If it is on the right fender weel then you will need to remove the fender not unless you have 12 inch fingers to reach the antenna nut inside of the fender. Thanks Jerry
