bratsrus1 Posted September 21, 2007 Share Posted September 21, 2007 Hey Rider This is Jerry, yes i had them on my 86 brat. My brat use to pull to the left and i took it to the tire shop. They told me my left wheel was not inline with the right wheel. So they told me i needed those adjustable strut rods, they install them and moved the left wheel to line up the right wheel no more pull fix the problem. I have a set of custom gen 1 control arms that I did for EA81 front balljoints. I used the main portion of the EA81 control arm, unbolted the stabilizer rod and made my own the same size as the original ones from my '79 wagon. I made it so they had the caster adjustment just like the ones shown. I hear (or read) "strut bar" and think "strut tower brace," not that.. but am I wrong, or carrying over a term from a different suspension setup, or something like that? I must be mixing different suspension designs then.. Now that you mention it, radius rod makes more sense. Off to the textbook to expand my mind, I guess..
