mudduck
Well, my 91 Loyale is parked due to a burnt out clutch, and got to thingking that a low range tranny would really improve this car, as it see,s work, play and field dudy when it is up and going. How difficult would this swap be and what trannys will work? I am guessing that the swap won,t be to difficult, and I am also guessing that a d/r tranny from a ea 82 car will work. WoodsWagon
Use one out of a SPFI GL, it will have the neutral switch that the loyale computer has to have not to throw codes. Carb'd tranny's don't even have a hole for the neutral tranny switch.
