Went up to the goat mt. area.

Found lots of nice trails. More than I could go down in one day.

Ended up running across "Michael appel" off the board.

And he showed me around some, like how to get up to the top of the mountain, which rocked.

 

Gonna definetly go up there many more times to try and hit all the trails.

But until then here are a few pics.

 

The lake I guess you are not supposed to go to (according to the sheriff). There were no signs or gates, just a road leading right to it.

The "flex rock" had to get a pick of the Subie and the Land Cruiser which was my guide. It was getting dark and I forgot to put the camera on auto so it turned out kinda blurry. (Plus it's a $40 digi cam great for out in the woods)

As far as I know next weekend would be great.

Pretty sure I have no other things going on.

Even if I did have other plans I usually still get out for some wheelin' most weekends anyway.

 

The weekend after I'll be out of town though (10-6&7th). Gonna miss the next RallyCross.

what day you planning on going????? i got this saturday off but i have important things going on but i might be able to break away and meet up with you guys. sunday might be best for me, might only be for part of the day. do you carry radios or cbs??? i only have handheld walkie talkies but i might be able to get a cb and i know cells are ify especially on goat. are you going back up goat and what side colton or hillock burn???

I have a wedding to go to on saturday.

So I really only have sunday free.

Wish I had both free cause I'd be game to go up both days.

 

I think I can get ahold of a hand held CB. And I might have a FRS radio around.

I'll bring 'em.

 

Not sure as of yet what the exact plan of attack is though.
