GeneralDisorder
That was posted several years ago - no one could ever determine it's validity. Of dubious actual use IMO as the load capacity of the EA82 suspension could only handle yard debris and possibly small amounts of barkdust or something. Neat idea, but impractical other than for a very specific task for which it was built as a one off (assuming it was built at all). GD
s'ko
Space Shuttle meets EA82 That's not a dump bed. It's a entry hatch.

Davalos
Holy crap! And I thought I was cool converting my PICKUP to a dump-bed ... WOW!!! (edit) And I don'r wanna be a Poo-Pooer, but I'm kinda dubious, tho ... what does that piston push on? ... seems like it'd have to have a sizzor set-up to make the clearances ...but I dunno ... McBrat - that for real?

Davalos
Yeah, see what I mean? it's a sizzor jack lift - able to fold over - it can carry "less" weight on it's push and has less travel, but it transfers load more evenly and can tuck itself into a tighter space. That EA82 has like a direct piston push. i can't imagine that would be practical. It can lift more, but th car can't hold it, and even if it could, the piston would punch a hole in anything underneath it & it'd be sitting on the ground. I LOVE those Cab-overs, tho. Isuzu makes one in the US, I tihnk - and Diahatsu too - they're like 1-ton capacity and are only like 10 feet long, if i remember. too sweet! If only they had 4-wheel steering, hehe!
