archemitis
i just put a motor with 204k original miles into my hatch. seems kinda crazy, but its got good oil pressure, and good compression and it doesnt smoke anything blue. and its even spfi, more compression. hopefully i can make it to 300k. has anyone else noticed, if they make it past 150k, they will go forever. MilesFox
well if by then it has been serviced at least once, its good to go. a soob motor is only going to fail if necessary maintenance was not done i had a car with an estimated 300,000 miles. it had gobs of crank play, but no knocking. i used the heads on an spfi block, they dont smoke! it started up after sitting for a year. it had the clutch and timing belts done, maybe the water pump. i got it from the first-owner

GeneralDisorder
The car I got all my 4WD parts from is still a daily driver for my good friend that I sold it too - has about 320,000 on it's EA81, and no sign of stopping. It's got lots of power too - runs better than my Brat that only has 129,000 GD
