You think thell really handle good in the snow?

More than anything this symbol wintersymbol.gif is what you gotta see.

Actually, I have had very good luck with "directional" tires. The directional tread pattern "clears" the snow very effectively.

They are also "siped" to grip the thin sheet of slush/ice that is left after the blocky tread has done its job. Snow tires are less and less about the tread style, and have more to do with rubber-compound these days

These tires I have on my brat here look really agressive (and they are in mud)

....but theyre NOT rated for severe snow! (Not siped) Go figure.

I don't pack anything...I squirt chocolate not fudge. The packing dept is elsewhere :Flame:

"Fudge" in the U.S. is usually understood to be chocolate.

Squirt:1)To issue forth in a thin forceful stream or jet; spurt 2)To eject (liquid) forcibly in a thin stream from a narrow opening.

So tell me what exactly is your job title? You explained what you do (with the filtering and stuff, but what are you called?

Not trying to be a schmuck..just curious.

Okay..back on topic. I'm off to find that link for tires.

Huh! I dident know that! Yeah i guess having a directional tire for snow/water is better so it will push it out to the sides... Yeah those tires on your Brat look good. But they can't go thru deep snow? Go figure... Thank's man...

PS: I think Bucky will be happy to get new rubber....
