Crupper
Is there a differance in the replacement of drive belts in a 89 Loyale and a 92 Loyale, both have carburators and AC units? the reason I ask is that I had both belts replaced in the 89 and now got a bid to replace both in the 92 and the price is about three times more for the 92. Thanks guys for any input.
wtdash
Should be the same. Call a couple more shops. Also, these should both be fuel-injected - not carbureted (sp?). Also, this should be in the Old Gen...New Gen is Legacy, Baja, Forester, Impreza, SVX, WRX, STI, Tribeca....

A timing belt (thread title) is an entirely diffferent job than "drive" (accessory) belts. Maybe the shops have the 2 confused.
