Are there any spacific NGK plug wires for the EA82?

Recommended Posts

If I recall, the NGK's for EA82T's (OEM blue) are the ones to get, if you can find them. Though the other size NGK wires fit well, I believe the T's are a little bit longer, making them a little easier to work with under the hood. If you can wait, I can get you a part # later tonite when I get home

Always NGK plugs - of course...

good luck, John

Yeah thats fine.. The wires i got in it right now are Ultra-spark?? Cheep brand hahaha.. And i've got Bosh platnums too. And for some reson it started to run rough and when you pump the brakes the engine go's bup,bup like two time and then go's back to normal?? But it still runs rough like if it's in gear the tech vibrates around 500-600rpm so it's no good good.. So will see if the new plugs/wires help.. Thank's man

the ones for my car are blue and there exact fit. just remember 2 short 1 long 1 longer and the distributor wire also. i made the mistake of getting a set that wasnt even close to length. had to strech it over the engine in an akward way. take your longest wire with you when you go to pick up your new set or measure it so you dont get into my perdicament. do what other people tell me to do. because i have an 88 there were so many different changes between engines during that time. Just say you want ngk wires and plugs for a 1992 subaru loyale and you shouldnt have any problems. the wires are blue.

and yes there worth it.

Well i just got back from Car quest with my new plugs!! I first went to Autozone and they said they don't carry NGK's?? Pretty dumb huh. So i went to Car quest and they had them.. And i got the PBR6ES-11 insted because the PFR6B-11 were $10 bucks each:eek: Those are the ones it came with OEM anyways so that's why i bought those. And i can get the wires but they have to order them, Those are $20 so that's pretty good. I will order them tomorrow.........

Thank's for all the help!

Tom

PS: What should i gap them at? The chilton book says anywhere from 39-43 and there pre gaped at 40.. Is this good?

BPR6ES are the ones you want anyway - they go sweet. 40 thou will be fine, but check to make sure they are pre gapped properly - it doesn't take much to knock them out.

The Autozone here didn't carry NGK. Last week I went in to buy a set of Denso and they had none. NGK's would have cost me a fourty mile round trip to Advanced Auto. He tried to sell me Bosch. I tell him Denso or NGK is what I run.

He went and got a set of NGK for me. Don't know what's up with that.
