Towel Rail Posted November 7, 2007 Share Posted November 7, 2007 unless you change the tire size. Like if you put 185/70/13s on it insted of 165/80/13s the tire pussure will be difrent. This is just an example.. That doesn't mean you throw out the recommended tire pressures entirely! Running your tires at (or near) their maximum psi is dumb. But then, so is underinflating them. Because it needs a little room for the extra pressure from heat/friction.. It's basic elementary my dear Watson.. no, i was just baffled at your attempt at explaining it. i never said to inflate to max psi either. your statement above is equally perplexing. I know you never said put the max in the tires. But alot of people do that and make that mistake. So i was just pointing out that you souldn't do that.. That's all man..
