tuner-automotive Posted October 31, 2007 Share Posted October 31, 2007 Ive cleaned many a engines before but this time the car wouldnt start after a degrease and then wash of the engine bay. Usually I would suspect a wet distributor but we dont have these on our Subies. Car turns over just fine , just wont catch. Any suggestions? tcspeer Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 You are probably not getting fire, but I would check and see if fuel is getting to the engine also. You may have water down in the spark plug holes, I would check. Did you check that big vacum hose? It has gotten more then one of us.
