DoomWagon
hi everyone you might recognize me as oilcover or coiloverkid from the nasioc forums... I have an 87 GL wagon, with a built 2.0L JDM EJ20, rotated turbo, and Link+ standalone, blahblah...it's RWD, too. it's fun. I just blew the rear end after 2 years of loyal service, and Im throwing a new R160 back in. ANNNDDD i'm excited to find you can fit miata coilovers on this thing. see ya round! SakoTGrimes
Video (featuring you) of your car was posted about a year ago.... the person said you sold the car to him.... did you buy it back or was he full of BS? Either way, that's one hell of a sweet wagon.
DoomWagon
I bought it back. I couldn't stand it being in possesion of a non "subaru person"...you guys understand. I sold it in a rush to pay for my more expensive wrx project car and i regetted it, so when i had the cash i bought it back. that IS me in the video. I'm the original owner/builder. Hodaka Rider
When the original video came out (way back when) we were all gaa-gaa on it. Basically, we wanted more. Can we see more? BTW, I had stealthily tracked you down on a drift forum and had serious thoughts of purchasing it when you put it up for sale. Sadly, I suck, so I never contacted you. Hondasucks
You need to make that thing AWD/4WD and do a 5 lug conversion... Then you can :burnout::burnout: instead of :burnout:lol..
DoomWagon
i'm trying to get coilovers/stiffer suspension for this damn thing, it's hard! the problem is i wanna be 4-lug so I can run old school corolla style wheels with a good sized lip and sit flush. like this: this means re-drilling it to 4x114.3 or hub adapters... someone told me go 5-lug and get coilovers, but that's $$$. another option was kyb gr-2's and that coilover sleeve kit with stiff springs and crank down on the sleeve to dump it! which ground-control coilover conversion kit fits? calebz
someone told me go 5-lug and get coilovers, but that's $$$. 5 lug on my wagon, with coilover/sleeve setup was less than $
