Turbone
Did I miss where it says how much camping per night will be? Quoted from the WCSS web site. Cost for camping has not been established yet, we are working with the fairgrounds to determine price - will update as soon as possible
Qman
Did I miss where it says how much camping per night will be?$10.00/site either rv or tent!
Qman
It looks like the Auto X is being held some where else and the mudpit is on site. I would assume the mudpit will be available for both days. But I am assuming. A Staff Member can verify if this is correct. Or incorrect... We are working on plans to keep it open longer on Saturday. Sunday the pit occupies the same field as the rally cross and will not be open.
subieman
$10.00/site either rv or tent! Awesome! Thanks
TheSubaruJunkie
How many tents per site are allowed? I will have Jibs and I ariving in my car. We each have our own tents. If we take up one site, but have two tents, is it still $10 or would it be $20?
Qman
The only fair way to regulate this will be per tent or rv. We want to make it fair for the participants and the fairgrounds as well.
TheSubaruJunkie
Completely understood. So $20 for our spot, since we'll have two tents pitched in there correct?
NV Zeno
...And I expect that is per night. (for clarification purposes)

carfreak85
So what is the deal with the AutoX? Has anything been figured out yet? Off-site? If so, about how far? When is it planned to be scheduled? Won't interfere with the show and shine will it?
MR_Loyale
not a bad idea. I am not sure how this will work for the location's calendar' date=' but I am sure that we could do some sort of roving celebration in the Oregon campgrounds / trails. Has anyone done any research on Astoria to see what family activities are there? If not I can head that up, granted I will be only able to do it via the 'net and phone calls, so if someone local wants to do it that would be fine. BW[/quote'] Actually there are several fun things to do. If you are into history and want to make an "educational" side trip, Fort Clatsop, the winter encampment of Lewis and Clark from 1805 to 1806 is within 30 miles of Astoria. If you are old enough to remember Howard Hughe's flying boat the "Spruce Goose", it is on display at the Evergreen Avation Museum. It is probably about 1.5 hours from Astoria. (http://www.sprucegoose.org/) That will also put you into Oregon wine country too, so if you are into that all the better. If you want touristy shops and touristy crap to buy there is Seaside south of Astoria about 20 mins or hop across the bridge into Long Beach Washington. Both have beaches, in Long Beach they have a go cart race track that is kind of fun to ride.
edrach
Yes sir, it is per night. To build on qman's comment. It is $10 per night per tent (or RV).

Get too sideways and "the man" may have a word with you Bring a tow rope / chain if you go there. (I had to pull out Austin once)

Too far from the water in the dry sand and you'll be stuck. To close to the water nd you'll be stuck - with the tide rising. Oh and I hear there is a casino in Long Beach as well.
