mdoherty53
I was planning to do that myself but was hoping to slip the sender into the hose or maybe put a fitting in the top hose to fit the sender to I just found out that these temp gauges stay the same from about 160 to 205 deg f what are others experiences and temp readings Michael

Can anyone confirm? I can easily see it, but if true and/or spec, then a modification/second gauge is very much in order. I mean, if you temp gauge read the same but is actually athe the top of the 205 range, that's pretty near 'uncomfortable'.
mellow65
Im in Bellingham Wa I could have it welded i was pretty sure you were going to chime in, but damn it man you are soooo far away. with gas as much as it is i don't just go on my random road trips as much as i used to. i might check with the guys that i bought my welder from and see if there is any way of running aluminum through it.
