FSRBIKER Posted November 16, 2007 Share Posted November 16, 2007 I figure this might be simple but on occasion I have the dash and headlights flicker for awhile while driving, usually below 3000 rpm. I have a new battery FYI. I figure it's the voltage regulator and I believe it's internal with the alternator...any other ideas before I get a new alternator? Before replacing it I would have the alternator tested to see if it can produce full output and check the AC component of the output voltage also to make sure it isn't excessive.
