Was kinda skeptical about that initial diagnosis, cuz I've had several of these Webers on my cars, and never that problem. Cold or otherwise. Even with the temps in the 50s, it still had problems going up the big hill to get to my house. (about a mile long or so) I'm probably 200 feet above sea-level, maybe 3, so it's not an elevation thing either. Long steady hills seemed to be what pissed it off. I got around to changing the fuel filter in the front and I cleaned and re-oiled the KNN. Took it for a drive, attacked the big hill, and had no problems, it growled right up to the top.
