lsayyah
Hello, I have a little problem with my 1995 Subaru Legacy. For the last 2 months or so I have been noticing a strong gas smell whenever I use my blower/defrost. It seems to be getting worse. I have to drive with the windows cracked to breathe! I checked the air filter and it seems to fine. I have not noticed any change in the mileage of the car, so I am not sure if I have a fuel leak or what. Has anybody else experienced this or have any advice for me? Thank you! The USMB is awesome!
EVOthis
Cabin Air Filter?
xrturbo
This car won't have a cabin filter. I would start checking the area where the lines go into the filter neat the drivers strut tower and fuel lines on the engine and injectors. If it is only when you have the heat on it should be under hood.
porcupine73
Hi. I have been noticing an increased number of such posts now that it's getting colder outside. Sometimes it turns out to be one of the several short (1-2" long) rubber fuel lines underneath the intake manifold.
