Caboobaroo
Im guessing thats a hitachi model? Do you know if it shares flanges with any other common models? It is similar to the TD04 uppipe flange but nothing except the EA81Ts share the same downpipe.
testy
It is similar to the TD04 uppipe flange but nothing except the EA81Ts share the same downpipe. But if I ran a TD04 Downpipe, would it bolt up to this turbo? Im looking for ebay junk. If it does bolt up, should I run the gasket for the Ihi Rb5 or the td04? ishada
from my understanding one of the wholes is off a smidge and me personally I would use the tdo4 but I really don't know I would wait for more knowledgeable responses.
Caboobaroo
downpipes are totally different. You'd need to put a flange from the stock IHI RB5 downpipe onto it. Uppipe flange is similar, rear stud needs to be moved back like 1/2"

I think is the stock US list... the turbo guys can correct me (in order of "size" according to what I've read) ea81T = vf4 ea82T = vf7 ej22T = vf10/vf11 ej20k = td04 ej20G = vf8 ej257 = vf39 (also have seen vf3 and vf6 mentioned on some boards for the ea series...) and I found this... 2K4 STI
You can always buy the DP flange from SubaChad and make your own http://uniquemotorsports.com/
88RxTuner
EA82t in the Wagons, Sedans, RX, and XT I'm pretty sure use the VF7. It would be most cost effective to purchase a flange (see above) and have your local exhaust shop bend and weld a downpipe to match. You'll be hard pressed to find another up-pipe in reasonably good shape, especially locally... Yours is rusted out, most of the rest of them in the area probably are too. A competent exhaust shop should be able to cut the flanges off your up-pipe and fabricate a new one.. I have a matched up- and down-pipe for the VF7 in reasonably good shape, with good catalytic in the downpipe, if you're interested in paying a small price plus international shipping...
