rverdoold
http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2009-subaru-forester/544490/full/ All new forester looks cool although wouldnt give the bonnet wing mirror a long life time in holland (being pulled of). But rest looks nice
hklaine
and a few, essentially useless, "technical" specifications... http://www.leftlanenews.com/subaru-forester.html i think the old "wagon" bodies suited the forester better. just my $0.02. Phizinza
Take it off the road and that front bumper is going to die... Why is the Forester such a 'softroader'. Why can't they make it decent offroad. We don't need anymore 4WD city rigs. Sorry /rant
Suzam
What is the red knob on the left side under the dash?? http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/2009-subaru-forester/545163/full/ If it was on the driver's side, I'd hope it was a mother-in-law ejector. J A Blazer
It appears that the door windows are now framed rather than frameless, correct?
ericem
Yes. Another subaru lost in the game of frame or frameless
otis
I think it's ok... hard to tell unless you see/drive it. I did notice it had a "start/stop" button. I just don't get this trend. There are some cars where you just leave the key in your pocket and you just press the start button (pretty cool). But then most cars I see with this feature, you have to insert your key, then press the start button- kinda stupid if you ask me. It just makes starting your car just a little more cumbersome. Other than the "gee-whiz" factor, what function/convenience does adding a start button offer?
rverdoold
What is it with these frameless door windows. THey are just cool. Driving in summer opening the door and you just see just the door which makes it look like a real sports car. Subaru also proved it whas not needed for safety (looking at all subies without them performed best in safety tests. There seem to be more wind noise without them. (mine does, 05 OBW doesnt?!?). Looks like a starting button taken from toyota. Its fine as long as you can keep the key in the pocket.
