first pic of new lifted 83 wagon

Recommended Posts

yes, Scott in Bellingham made the strut blocks for me but other than that its all done right in that shop. Its just a 4" but I cut the fenders a little to fit some 30x9.50x15s on it. I also just tonight put disc brakes on the rear, hope that helps

I have an '86 hatch that still needs a lift, but I think I might do a gen 3 next. It'll probably just be a 4" just like this, except for I might try and find a less rusty car .This blue wagon has no rocker panels and there are a few soft spots here and there. But I figure i'll use it for wheelin', no since in smash up a nice "solid' subaru right.

I prefer a solid car over a rust bucket, even for a wheeler, dont want the thing falling apart , hey Jeff when are we going to take that thing to walker?? I havent went in a few months need to go again, bring a complete set of axles and lock that rearend and Im up to it , SJR

I'm going to steer clear of Walker for a while. I have the worst luck there, and they are in the process of removing the gravel pit. That last time I went up there I think was my last. Big rocks and my car do not get along. But Reiter pit would be fun. I went down there about 3 years ago, it seems like zap was saying there are hard trails and not so hard trails. My rigs are just not the ultimate Wheeling machines, as much as I want them to be they are not. I don't want to take it somewhere where its going to break. Then I have a weeks worth of work replacing the broken parts. So I'll play it cool and not go places I know will totally tear my car apart.
