The Keith
In my 83 GL my the brake fluid light came on, so pulled out the bottle to add a tad of fluid and noticed that my brake distribution block leaked all over. I'm kinda new to the GL and have yet to figure out everything about it, but it looks like the clutch return spring/cable is attached to the top of the block with a pivot type bracket, and my leak is coming from under this piece. Can this be fixed (IE can it be taken apart easily. then get a kit with what ever gaskets are needed) or will i need to scourge the earth to find a new block? I'll take pics when I get a chance. Gloyale
That is you're hill holder. It can be replaced. It might be possible to find a rebuild kit for it. I've heard here of people doing it, but I would just get a used or new one.
