I watched some of those videos on youtube Pretty amazing. I liked the Rock garden it would be fun just to watch people handle that kind of terrain.

Hey Scott what are you going to bring? The Monster or will the EJed red car be ready for action.

'Yota...Subaru needs repair...still :-\

Besides, I hear that the wall trail is a bit tougher than before. That is where I want to go while we are up there.

ok, i've got a question. are there any "mudding" trails in this off road park that a guy who's not a complete moron will be able to transverse in a semi-stock 4wd wagon? all of the latest posts make this place sound like it's nothing but rock crawling (either because this is the case, or because some of you are worried about babysitting some idiot who breaks their car doing something they shouldn't) i'm not that moron, but if this place is beyond my car's capabilities, i'd like to know that before i drive down.

I've been all over in there with my stock 81 Brat with 14" rims and street tires and had no problems. You'll have plenty of fun. Especially if it snows :headbang: up there. If I can finish up the crate motor swap on my 82 Brat and get it up and runnin' right I'd like to join you guys. I've got to swap manifolds first since it came out of a right hand drive car:mad:. Or get a really long brake booster hose. I'm not lifted (yet) so I'll be staying towards the shallow end of the pool for now. I'm in Smokey Point so I could catch you guys coming from the north as you pass through the area. Frank

all the stuff under the power lines is just mud, mud climbs and mud... tons of mud, there's something for everyone there, from a stock car to buggies.

cool . . . i <3 puddle jumpin, getting into water above the doors (just below all the electrical b.s. and intake) running through the mud until the ruts are deeper than my car  , and anything else that could be considered "negligent" and i have the tickets to prove it  (from doing too much drifting/donuts back in my G35 days :-\ )

:headbang:

Maybe.

That is if I don't get another date with this hot babe I've been seeing.

I'll try to get out and do some wrenching on the hatch this weekend. Don't think it needs much, it's just full of stuff and has been in storage for what is it, three or four years now?

i'd suggest sealing your disty cap with rtv. otherwise you'll wind up with that wet disty sputter out there. the water is probably fairly deep out there right now.

thanks, i will, anything else need sealing? :Flame:

with the carbed engine, the air cleaner assembly should be high enough right? (i removed the little rubber sleve that connects it to the tube down in the fender to prevent sucking up water on previous excursions :headbang: )

aside from that it's just about not submarineing the disty/alternator/coil right?

thanks

chris
