for some reason i thought you already had one, i thought i saw a picture of you in a blue one without any doors once. maybe i just imagined that though.

the blue one without doors was a wagon with the back cut off......

few lifted sedans around, but they're pretty rare. DrKrazy has a lifted '86 sedan....

Wow been awhile since I've seen my Sedan mentioned. When I started to build mine the only other sedan's that were lifted that I knew about were from our brother's down in AUS. I know there's a few more now in the US...

Here's a before and after build pics of my sedan (of course the build never stops, in fact it's going to be getting an EJ over the next summer I hope).

86' D/R Sedan, Converted to SPFI, Twin Sticks, LSD, Rear Discs, Dual Batteries, running 2 sets of 29" Tires (one set M/T's, one set nasty Snow's)

(Numbchux, I don't remember taking that pic, never seen my driveway so empty before  Glad you posted it as I haven't been hanging around as much)

Day I bought it for $100:

After I finished most of it:

Lifted Sedan's Rock! :headbang:

You ask and you shall receive ;) Scott. I need lift some parts from you so any pics you want just ask! Have tons more from the build, and it's sitting in my driveway (covered in snow atm) if you need anything specific.

From right after I got it lifted, think I was still running the crappy carb too (looks like hell compared to what it looks like now):

Or another more direct on side shot (minus the fact it's climbing a hill):

Also a ton of pics in the original build thread from a few years ago:

With no back seats, you could put a fuel cell in their place.

Now put that radiator in the spare tire spot under the hood, and bob the front.

Oooh, yes. That wouls be one short (and capable) EA. I wonder how much you could hack away at the front of the car...

...Upon inspection of the Loyale (jeez - it's like 5* F outside), it seems as though you might be able to whack as much as 10" (or so - give or take a few inches) away from the front of the car if no radiator is present. The safety features up front will need to be replaced, though. Perhaps a big, meaty bumper would do the trick.

What are you thinking, Scott? I want to see the photoshop results now! Yahoo!

you can get quite alot off the front without messsig with the rad support, but if you wanted you could go right to the timnig covers and fab up a box for the front and get a few more inches, but the rad support is pretty far back, really...

not just talking about making it shorter.....but actually improving the approach angle. with the stock bumper, the rad support is still the first thing (or maybe second, behind the oil pressure sending unit) to effect the approach angle.
