chadwick35/04
I was just wondering if anyone has experieneced any head gasket issues on there 2004 subaru? I have a 2004 so I am just curious? I did think that by 2004 subaru would of had the problem licked, but then again who knows! Please let me know all, thanks.

fnlyfnd
.....I was talking about the headgaskets. Subaru extends your warranty if you have the dealer put in the conditioner, so they are definitely problematic.
porcupine73
Here's the official Subaru list of the external hg peeping leak engines that qualified for the extended hg warranty if the conditioner was put in under the tsb. Soob doesn't seem to stick necessarily exactly to this list. I forget if the ~'03 fix was model year or build date.

porcupine73
I think that is something they do to differentiate the engines; the difference may just be 'nominal' only.
