hardtail_pride
Ok so i have a 92 loyale with the EA82 i believe and i have been replacing all the vacuum lines and now my cruise control works which is great! I kinda throttles on and off but keeps the speed i set just fine, so i was wondering if that is normal or if it should be a more constant throttle'ing? Thanks
mikeshoup
The cruise control on my 88 GL felt the same. That kinda feathering feel almost. I don't know if that's how it normally worked, or if its due to old age.

mfolsom
Sorry for reviving an old thread but I wanted to share something that didn't need it's own. After a year, I finally got my 85 GL wagon back on the road. The first few test drives on the rebuilt engine were OK and a few bugs had to be worked out on vacuum lines. Before the engine RR everything worked including cruise control. During one of my trips to work I tried the cruise and sadly it did not work. On the way back I tried it again and at first it didn't work but I kept trying and got it to come on. That was the last time it worked until last night. I had the under dash panels off to add wiring for an electric cooling fan so I crawled under there to look at the dealer added cruise control stuff. I noticed the switch for the clutch pedal cruise disengage was barely pushed so I adjusted it and walla, a test drive proved I found the problem. Now everything works on my "little old man" again.
