ellets
Went out to start my 88gl afew days ago and it started on two cyl acted like a carbed engine with a stuck choke. Could keep it running at 3500rpm or more. less and it would die. Since it spfi this was strange. After it warmed up for a while 7 to 10 min It would smooth out and run fine until I did a cold start. I crossed my fingers and poured about a half can of seafoam in gas tank then drove it to nearest town and back. About 30 mi. It runs smooth, starts easy and has'nt missed a lick since. Wonderfull stuff that.
Skip
Congrats on the Seafoam it has worked some miracles for many. If it happens again. it may be related to the FI CTS Fuel Injection Coolant Thermo Sensor. Sometimes the contacts want cleaned. It is shown under the upper rad hose connection not to be confused with the dash sensor (the sensor with spade connector)
