Rooinater
planning on camping up at naches memorial day weekend. the naches pass trail won't be open on the west side, but kaner flats should be, pwr line trail and all the stuff at the moon rocks. depends on snow melt how much is open. usually, and last year most trails were open. maximum amount of vehicles 14 per trail, subaru requirements: welded or lsd rearend lift oversized aggressive tires toyotas, jeeps and all modified 4x4 vehicles welcome. except full sizes... alot of trails are really tight for the fullsizes. they can fit if they are short enough, cause we used to run them in my dad's truck. but it becomes a hassle... planned trail runs, subjective to change due to weather and conditions... kaner flats, dependent on types of rigs and conditions clover and mud springs funny rocks and moon rocks manashtash ridge area this weekend will be a busy one, generally it is the season opener. Rooinater
if chinook pass is closed i'm also looking at reiter or evans creek to camp and wheel. i'd prefer naches, but snow depth and the opening of chinook pass is dependent. this winter was pretty wicked for snow fall, eventhough memorial day is usually when they open chinook. second choice is evans if the snow has receded enough to open the campground. anyone interested???
