mykingcrab
This a chaser to this thread http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=84079 I went to PICK-N-PULL In Rancho Cordova,Ca. (Sacramento), today, specifically to get these wheels, IF by pure chance that they were still there.of course somebody scored.I would have went sooner but i live a few miles away.Today(30days later) was the soonest I could get there. Here is a slide show of what I did find.alot of cars, most did not belong in this slaughter house. But if you needed parts,it was loaded. if you look close, you'll see this hatch after someone??????????? scored on these hard to find wheels. :slobber: http://s251.photobucket.com/albums/gg314/MYKINGCRAB/?action=view¤t=562def49.pbw
subyrally
wow, you guys got some super clean and organized yards. the yard i go to you are lucky if the car is on dry ground or above ground, lol. the yard i frequent i tihnk was once a farm about 50-60 years ago when the yard first started up, not they have thousands of cars quietly rotting away. hell, some of the car have been there so long that they have full grown trees coming up trough em. Your right about being organized. This entire area is for recycling. they're must have been a 25 wrecking yards in this one single area. I was impressed with how the city has it layed out. Just as organized and clean as you stated. And the cars were nice. you could have got an ej22 out in a few hrs easy.the weird thing was that 70% of the subies were automatics, including the hatch. slideshow86
Oh wow, when are you going back next? I saw a gen 2 brat? I need the rear sliding window lock for the pass side. its the plastic part that actually locks the window, so someone cant open it from the outside. Also noticed the tailgate trim has been snagged or removed? Is it laying in the back? Could you price the t-top things if the rubber trim is good? Oh also the pass side t-top latch has plastic clips that lock it in the up and down possition. If there good ill take that too. Im interested and will pay more for time to pull them? Thanks in advance. Jess

I'll take a look at those rock guards for you and see about snagging them. Are they actual panels? or sticker? or sticker over panel? I was already on 50 west and got a call from cobcob that was watching the thread. He told me that zap needed those on his reply. I ran out of time. Glad you got it covered Brian  Man that place was loaded!!!!!!!!!
TheSubaruJunkie
They are panels usually riveted to the doors. I dont see rivets in that picture so im not sure if they are just a decal. That place is usually full of subes. 3 to 4 rows full, and 80% have no business being in there. Most are there cause they will no longer pass smog. mykingcrab
Weak! I was willing to pay what ever? I was tying to be as clear a possible....What about the items we knew would be cheap? Jess Sorry bro, the money was not the problem, glad to get stuff for people when possable. 1.the tailgate was on/chrome was not. 2.the entire rear window assembly was gone. 3.T-Tops. Before I went back in this a.m. I priced the tops, and seemed to not be able to get a straight answer between the 2 guys, what he said seemed high,so i asked how much for the latches are attatched buy it all, I remember that you had said $30 ea.up there so I figured it was high. I guess I should not have asked(they were finally pricing it off the computer) I had trouble getting straight answers before that.I should have unscrewed the t-top latches and just not said anything and payed as an odd part.I apologize. OK, Subarujunkie said that he is going tomorrow, you might ask him to snag them for you. My company sent me a message so I had to jet. Id go back but I live 1847 miles away. If Brian cant get them I will keep searching for you. Thanks MKC
