Legacy777 Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 More then likely you have a collapsed hydraulic valve lifter. If you haven't done so, I'd recommend replacing the oil & filter. Theres a million and one cures for this from adding ATF to the oil or just doing a change and flush - loads of info on this site. All i can say is if the ticking gets dramatically worse, have your oil pressure checked - dont just assume its several sticky lifters or you may end up like me...
