[HTi]Johnson
EA82 Bumpers are the same between GL and DL, right? Is there a difference between years, I forgot when they went with the more inset blinker (1985?). Could I take a bumper off of a GL and put it on a DL? I tried searching, but after 4 years, that search engine still has me confused.
GeneralDisorder
85/86 are different from 87+. They more or less interchange though. The difference is the amount they stick out. The 87+ have a foam insert that makes them stick out about 4" farther. The older ones are just plastic over metal. GD

pheonix165
HI there. I have an 88 would it be possible to take out the foam insert to make the bumpers alittle more flush. Ben the short answer is no, because its not just the foam but the molded plastic bumper cover as well. if you wanted the bumper to appear to be more "flush" with the car you would have the replace the entire bumper

I have an '85 bumper on my '92 Loyale. looks much better and was an easy swap. bolts right up. turn signal plugs are different, but function the same so that's not hard.
