Jibs
A buddy of mine recently built a buggy using a hona accord motor and 2wd Honda transmission. He flipped bioth the engine and tranny 90 degrees and used the stub shafts in the tranny to drive the driveline. using yota axles with 5.89 gears (I think) he ended up with a crawl ratio of around 60:1 without the need for a t-case. The thing is way light at 2200 pounds too. Here are some pics.
Phizinza
I've thought of doing that last year.. Good way to get 3.x /4.x low range. But the gearbox would be pretty weak. Still, with the weight like that. Nice buggy build too, I've just completed my pipe bender so I'll be making some cages for cars and buggys soon. Phizinza
I'd be interested to see how his hooked up things like gear linkage, throttle, clutch, etc.
