Pooparu
So is it necessary for me to try and rig up my pitch stopper in my EA81 hatch after I'm finished with my EJ22 swap. What will happen if I don't? If I do need it then can I get some advice on how to rig it up? thanks, earl
The Beast I Drive
I dont know what the EJ anti pitch bars are like, but I think all you would have to do is take and splice the end from the EA car that mounts to the body to an end that fits the EJ motor, then bolt it in like its stock
Numbchux
^problem is, EA cars bolt them to the motor. EJ cars bolt them to the trans. I've heard the EJ bracket bolts to the EA trans. and XTs bolt them to the trans, so the bracket for them works too (and the pitch stopper itself). I've been unable to find any of these pieces. I've been running without one for a year and a half and almost 30k miles. no problems yet *knock on wood* I even drove around one day without a hood, and intentionally beat on it a bit. I was watching the engine, and didn't notice any substantial forward-backward movement/
s'ko
Are you running a lift? If you are, you might have to make something custom. I took my old pitch stopper for the BRAT and I used a piece of square tubing I had lying around to extend it. I used some thick washers and bolted it to the mounting engine through the hole in the lifting tab. ohh and I take it you no longer need the diagrams right?
