one eye
I was thinking We could all meet at The old GI Joe's / Joe's, in Mount Vernon at 10:00 am on March 15th. That is located at Exit 227 take a right on riverside drive and the First right past Dennys there is a big parking lot there behind dennys and the 76 station. It looks Like there will be 3 lifted Brats there.....So chances are you won't miss that:grin: . Once we all meet there we can head straight up College Way right up to HWY 9 and up to Walker. 3eyedwagon
Woody, and I worked on the Brat quite a bit yesterday. It's getting real close to wrapped up. I think he was going to fire it up today. I was just joking about the eggnog Scott. Woody, and I were talking though, and we are bringing quite a bit of food, and other supplies. We both remember a few trips that ""went a little long"". That's the one advantage the wagons have over the Brats, if it turns into an all nighter; we brought our own beds!
one eye
Woody and I went down to pull a part today He got him rear brakes set up for 6 and a half bucks! He's gonna put it on tomorrow and bleed the brakes. I think after that he'll be good to go. I got my brat at my house now and Tomorrow I'll change out a few things and be all ready can't wait. Will I'll give you a call tomorrow and see what you are up to. If you want Tuesday I'm going up to Scotts place to help him get ready if you want to help I'm sure Scott would like that. I'll talk to you later about it though. Jeff

slideshow86
Ive been fighting this damn brat tooth and nail. I just dont know enough about the car and/or eng it self to just snap it out. I am stumbling over unnessary things, like does this go here and is that to this car..... It is getting better each day but I havent even been able to reach freeway speeds. Let alone travel from olympia to Walker valley. Ive put about $600 into it so far just trying to make it run correctly and smoothly. I just cant find the issue or I would throw money in that direction. Im just at a loss. Kinda bumms me out, I really wanted to make this one. Don't worry about that. todds on the board once told me, "Good things take time." Just make sure you take your time and go through it nice and slow, not to just through it together and cross your fingers. I think I've played that game way to many times. If you are worried that one of these trips will never happen again, don't worry there will be more, many, many more..............I hope, as long as my brat hangs in there. r_kirky
I don't think the hatch is going to make it. I spent the money that I should have used to buy axles on Brat jump seats. But if there is an extra seat I would like to give my camcorder some use. I can give you a copy of the footage Scott. I would just prefer to use mine since it is almost new and I haven't had a chance to play with it much. -Rob Here are said jump seats

r_kirky
I have one that currently works. One extra would be nice I have yet to go on a serious wheeling trip without breaking one or both. Much appreciated:banana: Thanks -Rob No biggie as long as you're there, that's what matters. I'll build two of them tomorrow and hook you up. do you need one or two? It'll be good to bring one extra. one eye
No problem. Can you change them pretty easy like in the parking lot or do you need to put It in the day before? Jeff
r_kirky
Parking lot is cool should only take a few minutes. I built a bunch of shelves for paint and other cans of that size and was left with two extras they are 24 1/4" long if you have a spot in garage for them I will bring them. I would much rather see them go to a good home than collect dust in my garage. They look like this Later -Rob
one eye
That sounds good. I figure if you don't break them sooner or later I will, so If that makes one more sube to come wheeling with us you are more than welcome to it. Jeff

The front wheel bearing took a little longer than expected. Well...................... I got the fuel pump off for Woody...........and I found out what the motor mount sound is.........I tore a bolt out in the Frame area in the front and all the bolts (2) in the right front lift were totally loose. I tightened them all up so I hope that helps, I'll have to get that one welded up at some point. Anyways I got the spare in the back and just need to top it off with anti-freeze and I'm good to go. Is there anything you need from Pull-a-part I'm going down in the morning. Jeff
