JT95
It was kind of tight in there for changing out the timing belt, so I acquired a little easier access to things...
davebugs
That's certainly one way to do it. Guess AC wasn't an issue. Did you have front end damage or some other reason to remove the front end?

JT95
Did you have front end damage or some other reason to remove the front end? Do men ever need a reason to tear things apart??? (Nah--I'm rebuilding a car w/ front end damage and this one was stripped for parts...)
JT95
I also like that you put tunes under the hood too Wow--you have good eyes to notice that thing. Yeah, magnets are almost as much fun to play with as power tools. On the topic of speakers, here's what I did to gain better access for installing a new CD player and all-around speakers:

JT95
Nah, just trying to make a funny. Hey--some people get real sensitive over strange things like that. Hehee I couldn't mutilate the wiring too much because I still have to be able to start this thing so I can drive it to Wal-Mart at least once. pearlm30
This kind of remind me of Audi. At least for C4(92 to 97 100 and A6), you can remove the whole front end to do all kind of engine work. Very nice job you got there. Looking forward for more updates on your project green:banana: It was kind of tight in there for changing out the timing belt, so I acquired a little easier access to things...
