moosens
Am I wrong by saying the Stage I manual shift trannies are 4.125 final drive? I knew it wasn't 3.7 but couldn't recall the number. Assumed it was 3.90 like the later years. But according to what I've been reading they seem to be 4.125 Probably why they have that "trucky" feeling. Leeroy
My FSM states all EA63 models had 3.889. Only the 4WD wagon came with 4.125. Of course things may be different here in Australia - emissons and all that.

Specifically, the 1976 1400/1600 FSM assuredly states the 4-speed FWD and 4WD for the EA63 (specifically the EA63AFA,AFB,EF4 and EF5) all have a 4.125 final reduction ratio gear.
