texasjack
I once had an old Subie and when I was selling it folks would call me and ask what is a Subaru. Luckly we are not bothered with "white misery" and rust here. I have a 79 Brat for sale and an 86 Brat coming from Conroe on Tuesday. I also have a truckload of Gen 1 parts. I reside just 3 miles west of Loop 820 off I-30 West. TEXASjack
sinbin
I recently moved to Austin. Seen quite a few newer soobs, but only 1 other gen 2. Was a wagon. My 85 brat is the only one I've seen so far. Can't even drive it though. Needs a new engine. Damn I can't wait to get it back on the road! So far not having any luck finding a USMB member here that's a mechanic. Ricearu
i live south. in midlothian/venus pretty much at the junction of 287 and 67. I have a 97 outback limited, wife has a 1996 LSi, and my roommate has a 1995 Postal wagon right hand drive. My friend taylor has a blue impreza wagon with jdm goodies, my friend jay lives in river oaks and has my old black wagon (avatar). I used to have my digital urban camo GL when I lived in haltom city, but sold it to my brother. He just got his license. We should REALLY have a get together someday. We could include LegacyGT, SL-i, and subaruforester.com. I am not "cool" enough for the impreza crowd, so nasioc is bottom of the list i guess. The more soobs the better but i have had sti owners think my GL was a toyota...
texasjack
Sounds like fun. I need to get the timing belts changed on my 86 Brat. After 3 back surgeries, I will have to get someone to do it for me. TEXASjack
