(goldfish)
OK gang it's time for the old gal to get new struts/springs, ect. What options do I have for a little better handling, but I'm not really looking to lower it at all. Are the GT springs much stiffer and compatable? It is a wagon, and may get light towing <1000lbs. Any other ideas welcome.. Thanks
EVOthis
coil overs! ......no just kidding but i have heard of alot of people using the KYB GR2 struts.......not to sure if they help with handling at all......but you could def. increase your handling if you wanted to lower it a little bit.......i bought these springs called intrax off of http://www.autopartswarehouse.com and they are considered lowering springs but they didnt lower my 96 legacy that much.......they werent to expensive either..... edrach
GR2's are a great improvement. If you want, the KYB AGX's are better but somewhat pricey; sometimes you see a new set of AGX's on the USMB for under $300. Also, get rid of that dinky 13mm swaybar; a used stock one off a WRX is in the 19 or 20mm range and easy to come by. The Whiteline anti-lift kit is a great improvement in handling for the price.
