PaulMidi
I just bought a 2001 Subaru Outback. I noticed the head lights stay on even when I have the lights off. Even in the day time. Can anything be done to get the lights to go off? They do go off if I put on the emergency break. It's an auto transmission Thanks

It's generally acknowledged that they are for safety purposes, and may be required by law (on a state-by-state basis). I think that the consensus here is if you don't want them on drive with one notch of e-brake to activate the off-switch, but not the brakes. Call us back when you can't get he parking lights to turn off, and we'll explain that too!
